What a win! What a come back!
More analysis later. I'm speechless. A game that drew yawns for the first 40 minutes became one for the ages in the last minutes.
Update: Two things. Tiki Barber must be crying in his cereal this morning. Second: The Manning family is ridiculous. Can you imagine being Archie? Good for them.

It's incredible what a difference a few dramatic minutes can make. If the game had wound up 10-7 Giants or 14-10 Patriots: zzzzzzzz...
But capping it off with a heroic march and a very gutsy connection between Eli Manning and David Tyree quickened pulses all across the country and made this a game that football fans will be thinking of for quite awhile!
And Tiger Woods won in Dubai today! :o) Did you fit that into your multi-tasking?
I had planned to announce that bit of golf trivia tomorrow. What a weekend. Did you hear how TW won? On a 25 foot birdie putt on the 18th! He's got all the shots, doesn't he?
I did read that Tiger made a pretty bold and dramatic charge to win it. Nice to know that there are some steady, predictable outcomes to be found in this world...
i guess the $70 i spent on an eli jersey last week was a good investment! wow. unbelievable.
Great game. Happy for the Giants! Glad Coughlin (first Jags coach) won another Super Bowl.
And this long-time Dolphin's fan was glad that the '72 team won't have their undefeated season record joined by the Pats. :-P
I still say that Justin Tuck should have won MVP despite such an heroic drive at the end - one for the ages.
The way that Brady's face was all over that turf was sweet. I thought the first have was great, but I love good defensive play which is why the offenses struggled.
Also, is it me or were the Pats still a bit too smug afterwards as if to say "Who cares we are still the best ever..."
Bill Belechick solidified his role as the most repellent public personality ever. And I have always had issues with the hoodie. Show a little respect for the game. You don't have to be all Tom Landry about it, but at least look like you aren't about to start painting your garage.
He was sooo much better as a silent assistant under the Tuna. Coughlin learned to soften up a bit with the media and it served him well this year. He also let his soft side out during the post-game interviews which was great to see. Have to respect him the way that Strahan was giving him so many props towards the end of the season.
I dislike the recent trend of basically giving the Super Bowl MVP award over to the QB of the winning team. Eli Manning did his job at the end and was impressive in doing so (especially evading that sack prior to tossing downfield to Tyree) but someone on the Giants defense deserved that trophy more than he did - I didn't study the stats or tape close enough to decide who, but Drew's choice suits me just fine. I think the timeframe to decide the MVP is too short - the people responsible just take a shortcut and go with the most marketable personality connected with the outcome. Same thing happened with Peyton last year - he got the MVP even though he really didn't have a very good game. But it sure helps line up the endorsement deals and looks nice on a Hall of Fame plaque.
