Read this as prep for tomorrow's column

I wrote my column for tomorrow as a response to this column by Rebecca Hagelin (evangelical woman of the year and author of Home Invasion).

You might want to read it in advance to understand better the source that generated the passion of my column. :)

On a totally unrelated note, I saw a commercial for a new car, The Edge, made by Ford.

Can the Chevy Bono be far behind?

Just read the column. Wow! I guess I can see why she won the title of "Evangelical Woman of the Year" - she strove mightily to perpetuate the idea that white men are being victimized in this country! I'm sure that won her a lot of points from her white male benefactors.

Not that she really succeeds in this effort, as far as rationality is concerned. This particular howler, "The white, Anglo-Saxon male, the young teenage guy, is probably the most discriminated-against kid on the face of the earth right now," kind of has a credibility-destroying effect.

I'll reserve further comment until after I read your column. There's a lot of material here to deconstruct. I look forward to savoring your dissection!

A Chevy Bono? May it never be! :)

And great pull quote from that article. The whole thing blew me away.
