The host of the Brokeback Mountain Forums is a journalist with Salon.com, Slate and the New York Times. He is just about to finish writing a book that he considers the definitive historical record of the Columbine shootings (eighth anniversary in four days). He lives in Denver. It was strange for me to hear of the VA Tech shootings as I've been anticipating Dave's book.
Yesterday on NPR, he was interviewed for his insights into how we, as a country, respond to events like this one. I thought his comments insightful and helpful.
