It's such a devastating event that while I'm quite relieved that our friends are okay, I can't get beyond the images of mass graves and weeping mothers prostrate on the sand. When we were missionaries in the Muslim world, we had many, many friends who worked in the region most hard hit. I can't help thinking of them, imagining their agony knowing people who have died or having lost their own team members...

Wonderful news, Julie! My mind and heart have been with those affected. So much tragedy! It's good to hear a bit of good news!

thanks, julie - really wonderful that they're okay, and continued prayers for their return, and for their "pressing on" thru all of this, you know?
peace all over.
Thanks for praying and caring.

In any case, I thank you for your concern. :)
