And because this is an auspicious day....

My blog must record the debut of this item. My family will not be home during the dinner hour tonight.

And this NYTimes video is worth the 5 minutes plus to view.

Good luck, I hope you get one. I thought you would have had to be in line already.

For now, I'm sticking with my little Samsung from T-Mobile. :o) But I like knowing that a device like the iPhone exists. The world is a better place for it.

Loved the video! :) I'm more amazed the more I hear about it. I can't wait to hear if you got one. You'll have to post a pic for me!

Did you see the article in The Economist about Apple a few weeks ago? I saw it in the store but read it online - just google "Lessons from Apple" and it should come up if you're interested.

We didn't actually go to *buy* one, only to oogle. :) I stayed home, in fact, painting bedrooms (I'm a woman on a mission). But Jon took Jacob and Caitrin and they said it is all that they imagined and more. Drooling was about the size of it.

Jon says to wait for the second generation so we probably will. I don't need that much phone. But neither does Jon... and yet we will find a way to justify the purchase for him, I'm sure. :)

One of the links titled "iPhone Workshops" made me smile. I am happy with my Moto Q - for now ... it was only $50 :)
