March Madness

March Madness, originally uploaded by juliecinci.

Reveal your brackets! If you're playing along, you can share starting with the sweet sixteen or elite eight in the comments section. But for sure, I want predictions for the final four and the big kahuna!

I'll post mine later today.... off to the accountant.

I have Commissioner Privs on our league at CBSSportsline.com so I can enter brackets if you want to keep score in our contest.

So far I'm 3-for-3 but it don't mean nothin' yet.

My Final Four are Florida, Kansas, Georgetown and Ohio State, with Kansas beating OSU for the title.

Sweet 16 (beyond the four already mentioned): Maryland, Oregon, Wisconsin, VA Tech, Pitt, UCLA, North Carolina, Texas, Vanderbilt, Tennessee, Texas A&M, Memphis.

Woo-hoo! Love it.

Okay, here's what I've got:

Elite Eight:
FL v. WI

KS v. UCLA

OSU v. TX

NC v. Georgetown

Final Four:
OSU v. Georgetown

FL v. UCLA (The almost rematch!)

Finals:
UCLA v. OSU

Of course if I take UCLA that far, I have to go with UCLA for the win. Jacob questioned my logic. All I could say is that I can't root against the Bruiins and I really think that they may have a shot at the whole thing just by being out of the lime light at #2 seed position. They were ranked #1 more than any other team all season, let's not forget.

OSU is really good, though, young and inexperienced in tournament play. We do root for them, though, because of Thad Matta (he coached Xavier to the Elite Eight).

And behind UCLA winning, I want Florida losing. Haven't we had enough of them already?

(If UCLA can't win the big one, I'd at least like OSU to regain its dignity by beating them in a b-ball final.)

Kim, I love your brackets at the Post. What a cool system. I should have done something like that.

So far, I've got them all right. But that's about to end when Xavier loses, I have a hunch.

My final four: Notre Dame, Pittsburgh, North Carolina, Memphis.

Championship: Pittsburgh and North Carolina.

Champ: North Carolina.

Now I guess I should check and see if any of these even are still in play.....

Love the photo! I actually did brackets as someone who knows next to nothing....just to see what would happen. Of course, I don't have them with me, so I have no idea who I chose (since I chose in virtual ignorance). My theory was to go with Catholic schools in the first round, (but when it came to Villanova vs. Holy Cross, I had to go with ranking). Beyond that, I just took wild stabs. :-)

Dave, I do, btw, want to see where you host the brackets. I'd join if it's not too late.

Hot damn! Can you believe I called that Duke upset?

Even if I get nothing else right, this Terps fan will take satisfaction in that.

Fo Shizzle!

Love the pic! But if you're going to set it up like that, why not have yourself doing a 360 slam dunk from above the rim! :)

I'll pass on the bball picks. I'll be involved with college football swings back around. :)

Enough of Florida? :O Never!

I'll try to come back and post my final four prediction (or who the other 3 teams will be).

Go Gators. :D

PS: Like your shadow shot!
