Five and a half inches of snow

Basketball hoop in color

And probably more in other parts of our yard. What a day! What's the weather like where you are?

Here's what the heaped up snow started to look like late this afternoon:

Hey Julie,

Beautiful photos!

It's been topping out in the upper 40's and low 50's and mostly sunny here in Atlanta for the past several days, and according to forecast, more of the same for next few days. It's been really nice.

Central NC has been clear, but very cold. We dipped into the low teens last night. The weather was deceptively bright and sunny this morning, tempting the "I'm fine" teens to leave the house without jackets dispite warnings. The first 5 or 10 minutes waiting for the car to warm up made them regret the decision. I, on the other hand, was toasty in my warm coat, scarf and gloves! :-D

I love the photos, especially the second. Something about cardinals and snow makes them go together perfectly.

Snow is starting to fall here now; wonder how much we'll get....

Sunny and close to 70 here. A beautiful spring day in the middle of winter, Texas style. Your snow is lovely!

No snow right now but lots of bright red cardinals. They've provided a very welcome burst of color into our views.

62 degrees yesterday. That is way higher than normal for this time of year. We are opposite the rest of the country!

Way jealous! Pa can't seem to muster more than an inch on the two days that we've actually had snow fall. It is bitter cold here, though, but the cold seems worthless without the snow.
