Yeah, Rob, I'll bet they did. I guess this is where I admit that my husband rooted for USC. It made for a few tense moments when I was cheering and hitting his thigh with a pillow in exaltation and he was fending me off with words like "Don't! I'm trying to watch the game!" :) Not nice to provoke the one losing, is it?
I have to admit, too, that I love Pete Carroll and all he's done for that program. After all, we have Carson Palmer in Cinci and he's practically our city mascot and mayor (for all the airtime he gets).

Ah, Carson. He's still my hero. Real Trojans prefer Carson to Leinart, because of Carson's character.
When I briefly considered moving to Cincy, it was for two reasons: 1) To be closer to my nieces, and 2) to watch Carson.
But the cold weather there and my love for L.A. won out.
