Home from Chi-town

We had a great time. I don't have a new column for today because we were gone. But I do have a slide show for friends with more time on their hands than I have this morning. :)

We had a great time.

Loads of Chicago memories for me. My parents grew up in Chicago so we spent summers and Christmases there many times. I went up the Sear's tower just after it was built, for instance. I also remembered shopping in Marshall Field's. This time, we shopped in H&M and the Apple Store (more suited to my kids' tastes for sure).

Hope you all are well.

Julie,

Last week on vacation in NYC, my kids went to H & M and the Apple store. Must be hot spots for teenagers!

Enjoyed your pics - especially the reflective sculpture piece. What is it called. I think I'd be mesmerized for hours with the various angles and views possible.

We're on a road trip in the Carolinas and I just started reading "Bono in Conversation...". It's been on my shelf for well over a year. Less than a chapter in so far, but loving it. Did you ever read it?
