U C L A Fight, Fight Fight!

Luc Richard Mbah a Moute - star of the game

My goodness! Can you spell d-o-m-i-n-a-t-e?

Clearly the Bruins have been under-rated all season. I just can't believe they were so fast, so quick on the rebound, so good beyond the arc. Lots of turn-overs, but in this case, they signaled a speed that threw the LSU offense for a loop!

If I can't watch a single game all season, at least I get to watch one where they really showed their stuff.

Against Florida? Well, let's just say I'll be tuning in to ESPN "In the Herd" on Monday for Colin Cowherd's prediction and commentary. :)

Rick, no rant from me. Obviously. Sorry, Jim, about tonight! And Dave, I'll be rooting against ya come Monday. :)

Ouch! That one was sure painful to watch. Congrats and go beat those Gators!

I felt so bad for Big Baby. No one likes their last game in a tournament to be that rough. He's played a great tournament and no one can take away that win over Duke!

After all these years, I never thought it would be sports that drove us into polarized opposition to each other... but on this, I simply CANNOT compromise!

GO GATORS! (Bring da trophy to Daddy!!!)

Hi Julie,

I was gone all week-end and didn't get to see the UCLA game until late Sunday night. I am not a UCLA fan but I will be rooting for them tomorrow night. I was amazed how well they played on offense. They looked terrible on offense during the Memphis game and not much better in the Gonzaga game until the last five minutes of the game. I don't know what got into them. One of the reasons I love college sports is the unpredictability of of it all, especially when it comes down to one game. Hope your team wins. It won't make up for the USC loss in the Rose Bowl but it will give us West Coast sports fans something to brag about....So you listen to Colin Cowerd's In the Herd too. I listen to him every morning on the way to work. I love his passion for sports.....

Yes, Dave, it has come down to this - the one thing we don't agree on. Go Bruins!! :) (I have a hunch that the telos of this sports season is predestined to crown UCLA reigning king.) :)

Bilbo, glad you're returning the favor by rooting for UCLA. I, who am a Bruin and usually root for any team other than the Trojans, did in fact root for SC in the Rose Bowl. Crushing loss.

Hoping for better in the basketball department.

Here's a wonderful article about the un-sexy nature (flat out ugly) of the Bruin defense. (I love sports writers - they pack more pop culture metaphor into an essay than Entertainment Tonight!)

ESPN.com

Colin cracks me up. I feel like I'm eavesdropping in a men's locker room when I listen. Makes me laugh. Anything after years of right wing political talk radio, thank God!

I don't know who said it or who it was about, but one player's game has "all the versatility of the potato - he can do baked or mashed, fried or hashed..."

I dunno what that's supposed to mean but it sounds cool!
