I can't look.... those Bengals...

I'm listening on the radio instead of watching on TV. Little comfort.

Still, the pundits who declared the points would rack up like a slot machine couldn't be more wrong. This is a defensive battle by two weak defenses. Crazy.

Update: Woo-hoo! 31-16 That's what I'm talkin' bout!

Football was a total washout for me this weekend. I mean, the Michigan-OSU game was pretty gripping and memorable, but I had a hard time stomaching the outcomes and mediocrity of today's NFL games... mainly I'm concerned with how my fantasy team did and it looks like I'm going to lose. Too many of my players had flat performances. The Lions looked horribly listless in losing to Arizona, what little I actually watched of the contest. Even though I'm "sort of" rooting for the Bears and they looked strong, their game wasn't on TV around here. And a 10-0 shutout doesn't exactly get the blood pumping either.

So anyway, the Bengals helped their playoff chances and avoid slipping to 4-6. Even managed to play a little defense, grabbing some key INT's. Good for them... especially since the Steelers pulled out a win thanks to Roethlisberger's bigtime salvage job (220+ yards in the 4th quarter!) I'm still pulling for a Bears-Colts Super Bowl though.
