Obama Win Causes Obsessive Supporters To Realize How Empty Their Lives Are

This just was a little too close to home to not laugh hilariously. Remember: it comes from the Onion.

Yes We Can, er, Will, er, Did! Or something. :)

Are you ready for change? Let's see. 7AM, check out Pundit Recap at Daily Kos. 8AM, updates on Halperin's The Page. 9:30, read up at MSNBC First Read. 11AM - Email some friends about latest issues. 1PM - get today's gallup poll. 1:30 - donate another $20. 3:30 -- make some calls to Indiana. 7PM - pick up some lawn signs. 9PM - recap it all on Rachel Maddow. My oh my, what's a boy to do?

Well... this Saturday (and next) I am spending the day with some friends at church and we are going to rake the yards of some elderly in our town. I call that change you can believe in.

Ed, you are awesome!! I feel just like you and had my own similar routine down to a science.

Today is my birthday and in my card from my middle child, he said how inspired he was to see me work so hard on the campaign. Then he asked, "What will you do now?" I smiled. He knows me. Gotta have something to do.

I like your idea! Raking for others - fantastic.

I'm also wishing I could help with the Prop 8 debacle in CA. We'll see how that goes from this distance.

Thanks for all your wonderful comments over the election season. What a ride!

Happy B-Day, Julie!

As I watched the video, I thought about you (and me to a lesser) extent. I'm hoping Obama takes advantage of this network he's built and the energy behind it and points us in a productive direction.

I felt the emptiness even while listening to his victory speech on CNN. There's nothing to argue about now. Of course, if things go wrong, and he gets all the blame, prepare to be on the defensive.

It's true. I loved the campaign and all the connections. I have a hunch, though, he's going to use us to get his agenda pushed through. So be prepared for that 3 a.m. phone call! ;-) We'll be ready to roll when he says go!
