Obama in Portland Oregon

where clearly is he is loved.

Check out these photos (the entry from DKos has some gratuitous shots at the end for male sports fans - but the Obama photos are stunning!)

Here's what the NYTimes says about that event (75,000 in Oregon!).
An estimated 75,000 gathered on the banks of the Willamette River in Portland on Sunday to see Barack Obama.

“Wow! Wow! Wow!” were his first words, as he surveyed the multitude, which included people in kayaks and small pleasure craft on the river.

He's going to win... everything.

Everywhere I look there are Obama signs in my town in Oregon. I haven't seen a single Clinton sign. Our block is especially Obama territory. The ladies with the big orange "O" for Obama are from my university.

He is big here. He will win big here. It was an absolutely gorgeous day for him to be on the Willamette River too. It was sunny and 87 degrees with a lovely breeze on the Willamette.

I do believe he is going to win it all. :-)

Oh I hope you're right - I have heard such ugliness out of the mouths of some I fear for our country. If they have this chance to right things and blow it I can't imagine the US could recover.

Wow...I don't know if the pictures affected you the way they did me but didn't the pictures remind you of the biblical scene where Jesus was preaching on the shores of the Galilee with the throngs of people around...some even in boats?

Great pics! Quintessential Pac NW ~ right down to the kayakers. Western WA and OR are definite Obama territory.
