NFL Play-off Picks

Seahawks v. Packers: I pick the Packers. Go Brett. This is his year, again.

Jaguars v. Patriots: Has to be the Pats.

Chargers v. Colts: I hope it's the Colts. I have less confidence here, but the RCA Dome should be a big advantage.

Cowboys v. Giants: It's trendy to go with the Giants right now and I admit to having a motherly affection for Eli (in his brother's shadow) Manning. Plus, if the Giants went all the way and the Colts knocked out the Pats, we'd get a true Manning Bowl! But in the end, I have to go with rested Romo (scandal of the play-off season).

Wanna post your picks?

I think that I will simply ditto your picks ... I'd like the Chargers to win but I don't now why ... maybe I'm just rooting for Bilbo's team :)

I would agree too. The G-Men are my wildcard though. And if the 'Hawks can force a couple of deep picks with Brett they have a good shot too. If anyone would know how to rattle Brett its Holmgren coming back to Lambeau.

I want and hope the Chargers will win but I think they will lose by two touchdowns or more. Indy is the second best team in league, by far, and the only team that has a chance to unseat the Patriots, imho. I predict Patriots will have easier time with Jaguar's then what pundits predict...Just call it a hobbit hunch. Cowboys will beat Giants by a touchdown or more...but...my upset special...Seahawks will beat Packers...I am rooting for the Packers but something tells me Seattle may come up with game plan to surprise Packers...and...don't underestimate all the play-off experience of this team. They have a lot of seasoned veterans, particularly on offense...

I think it's pretty safe going with the home teams in each of these games.

I'm going with all the home teams. I hope at least one of those Manning boys lose. Motherly affection? I have to go rinse my brain out now.

So I was 2-2 and the games were 2 walk aways and 2 nail biters.

So now I can root for Green Bay all the way.

I was glad to see the Chargers win even though I though the Colts would win.

I am not rooting for the Packers.. but I would like to see Farve win. :)

How 'bout them G-Men! The New York football Giants who hated their coach and now "love" playing for the man. How long ago it must seem from Strahan's "I'm a man" speech where he called out his coach.
