I wonder what Tiki Barber is thinking now....

One year out and his Giants are in the Super Bowl. Do you think he regrets retiring early now?

Gotta wonder if this team pulled together more easily with his cranky disposition out of the way....

I'm disappointed that Favre and the Packers didn't achieve the story-book ending that seemed like destiny up until the 4th quarter last night. I bet the commute into work was bitterly cold around Green Bay, Milwaukee and environs this morning, especially for those who endured the cold well into the night only to see their hopes crushed at the tail end of a long 47 yard field goal.

As sorry as I feel for Brett Favre, who will have a game-losing interception on record as his last play unless he decides to return next year (which I think he will), I'm glad that Tynes didn't miss his third shot at a game-winning kick. That would have just been brutal for him to endure. The better team clearly won last night, but the Super Bowl doesn't carry the same allure for me this year that a Green Bay/New England match-up would have.

The G-Men and Manning began to improve when his fallible crutch in Jeremy Shockey went down with an injury. It forced Eli to look elsewhere with the ball when his drop off check down man who wanted to get the ball every down was not there to talk a lot and complain.

I heard a commentator, talking about Tiki, saying he could not remember a player being so universally and openly hated by his teammates, after he left the team.

Looks like they are way better off without him.

Here a lil late but eli sure did step up after shockey wenmt down and in the last game against the pats. If eli can focus and make the short passes along with letting jacobs pound the ball when needed i think the NY football Giants have a great shot at spoiling belichicks perfect season Gotta love the total underdog status as a Giants fan!!!
