What made it worse was seeing Lions WR Roy Williams predicting before the game that he would score 2 TDs and that RB Kevin Jones would score 3. Detroit lost 19-13. Williams has a bad habit of shooting off his mouth and not backing it up at all. Oh well, at least I can switch my allegiances easily enough and root for the Bears, who looked mighty again last night.

In better news, my fantasy football team is leading the league in overall points scored and I'm moving up in the playoff standings. Besides leading the league in total scored, I've had even more points scored against my team, leading the league by far in that category. Everyone is out to get me, it seems. Marques Colston is my key discovery this year (last year it was Willie Parker) and Deuce McAllister also scored a couple of TDs for me (I have a strong motivation to cheer on the New Orleans Saints, besides the fact that they are the NFL's version of the Detroit Tigers as the "feel good" story of the year.)David Blakesleehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12167200509158903679noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9684236.post-1163430559484732902006-11-13T10:09:00.000-05:002006-11-13T10:09:00.000-05:00Julie, I feel your pain! It is just an eventuality :-).

I can't even talk about my Redskins right now, sigh. They got powned, as my Gamer son would say.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9684236.post-1163423916427617042006-11-13T08:18:00.000-05:002006-11-13T08:18:00.000-05:00I'm with Bill rooting for the Chargers ... already...I'm with Bill rooting for the Chargers ... already giving up on the Chiefs after that ugly game against Miami :(Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9684236.post-1163395144385520872006-11-13T00:19:00.000-05:002006-11-13T00:19:00.000-05:00Sorry for another loss Julie, but at least you got...Sorry for another loss Julie, but at least you got to see the game. I would have loved to have seen this game but they broadcast the stupid golf match instead. Since L.A. doesn't have a team anymore I root for the Chargers. I just hope Marty ball doesn't get in the way again down the stretch. San Diego has a number of great players and I think they will make a serious run in the AFC if they can keep away from injuries and the rest of the team came keep from either becoming suspended or getting in trouble with the law...Bilbohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12904580918080106725noreply@blogger.com
